Fiber Farmer Listening Sessions Calling all FIBER FARMERS! In 2022, Local Cloth received a small grant from Fibershed to create a new online map and database of fiber farms in the Blue Ridge Fibershed (farms located within a 100 mile radius of Asheville, NC). As part of this project, we are holding Fiber Farmer Listening Sessions in three regions of our fibershed in March 2023: central, east, and west. There will be guest speakers at each location on the topics of grants for farmers, how to prepare your fiber for the mill, and more. These events are free and refreshments will be served.
