Instructor: Karen Donde
Overshot is a classic weave, used traditionally for coverlets. This workshop will introduce theory and design, allowing participants to weave samples of several patterns in a modified round-robin format. Then they will design and weave a table runner on their own warps. This is a follow-up to Weaving 1 for novice or intermediate weavers who can warp a loom independently. Each student will bring a loom warped according to instructions and drafts provided by instructor prior to workshop. Instructor's studio looms will be available for rental on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact her directly (karendonde@gmail.com) to reserve one and arrange a time to warp it.
