Shetland - the Wool, the Week and the Fiber

Come gather in community to share and learn. Spend a few hours each month getting to know other Local Cloth members, and be inspired by the creativity others are engaged in. Bring something to share for a potluck lunch.

Judi Jetson will show images from her visit to the 2017 Shetland Wool Week, teach spinning techniques she learned using the fleece she brought home, and share 2-color knitting tips for those interested.


Bring your wheel, a flicker and 2 contrasting colors of yarn with appropriate-sized needles. Judi will provide a tam (hat) pattern.

Bring a light lunch or snack dish to share, and in keeping with our mission of sustainability, please bring your own plate, utensils, mug, and cloth napkin.
