Virtual class The Organic Indigo Vat

Learn to set up and keep an organic indigo vat in this two part virtual tutorial. We will explore the biochemistry of the organic vat and learn how to trouble shoot, adjust and maintain your vat. Each person will create with a vat that they can keep going for years. In part one we will set up the starter jar and learn about the unique requirements of the Indigo Vat and wait for it to reduce overnight. In part two we will test our vats, make a simple shibori bandana and talk about maintenance and trouble shooting. I will send you the indigo and all other reagents needed to set up a 5 gallon vat. Please sign up at least a week before the class so I can send you the materials.
