With the ecological challenges our world is facing, now more than ever, mushrooms are a vital and relevant queendom to understand, cultivate, and forage. Mushrooms are a great alternative to cellulose-based paper. Using polypore mushrooms and DIY paper making techniques participants will make their own mycopaper in addition to learning how to find, and ethically forage, for paper-friendly mushrooms. There will be a pre-recorded material prep segment and a live papermaking virtual session.
