Have you been interested in the world of Gelli Plate printing and don't know where to start? Perhaps you know a little bit about the Gelli Plate world but want access to more tools, space, and ideas to work with? If the answer is yes, then this workshop is for you. Come and explore the world of Gelli Plates, learn the basics and more as we experiment with this versatile printing matrix for a day. You will be provided with a Gelli Plate and have access to different paint, inks, paper, and tools to help you experiment and create with this diverse medium.

Materials fee: $25
Materials provided by instructor: 5x7 Gelli plate, paint, brayers, paper, blank cards, stencils, small stamping blocks to carve, leaves, items to create texture.
Students should bring:
Necessary items: tube of white acrylic paint, tape, paper to print on (I will have some for you, bring a mix of good quality and not good quality), xacto knife and cutting mat, things to create texture and stencils (I will have some), interesting leaves, rubber stamps. Look around for everyday objects that create texture. Things that you might like but are not essential: A larger or smaller Gelli plate, acrylic paint (I will have the basics for you), hot glue gun for making stencils, fabric to print on.
