What exactly is Gouache Flat pattern? In this class you will learn how to create designs and patterns using gouache( opaque watercolor)on paper. This method is used for printing your design on fabric, from florals, geometric patterns to designs used to create a printed woven. You can also use it to make computer designs . You will learn how to mix colors and paint with gouache as well as how to create a tossed pattern, a half drop, an all over and square design. Did you ever wonder how a motif is repeated? I’ll teach you the formula used to create one. This class will give you useful techniques while creating your own unique style. It can be used in whatever your chosen fiber field of interest is. You will become a seasoned designer in no time.No experience necessary…just a desire to learn something new. At the end of this class you will have several painted designs, a completed repeat pattern, a block print or silk screened print on fabric using one of your chosen designs. I’m so excited to teach this class and hope you will be part of this experience.
