We will learn New Needlepoint, which is very different from what our mothers, aunts or grandmothers taught us. We will make a sampler with a variety of different stitches, which can be used later to texture your future works.This sampler can be done in squares, rectangles or stripes with or without background and borders. Lots of choices to make so come prepared!

Students should bring: Any threads appropriate for 14 mesh canvas which includes full skein cotton embroidery floss, pearl cotton or wool tapestry wool.
