Curious about spinning? This class is designed for the new spinner, or someone who needs a refresher on the basics. Learn about the workings of a spinning wheel and tools like the niddy noddy and lazy kate. Practice the motion of drafting (pulling) fiber and spinning it into yarn. Plying and finishing yarn will also be covered. You will leave this class with a skein of yarn that you've spun! A spinning wheel can be rented if you do not have one to bring.

Materials Fee: $12 dollars for 3 ounces of spinning fiber
