Stumpwork is also called raised embroidery. This skill allows you to add dimension to your stitching projects, and/or create individual pieces that can be used as decoration, or brooches, necklaces, added to bracelets, actually - you can be as creative as you'd like! You do need basic embroidery skill - we won't be focused on learning stitches, just using them in a new and different way.
