If you have mastered a few simple book structures or you are an adventurous beginner join this class to learn two book structures that offer lots of modifications. The first structure is called the long stitch. It has an exposed stitching on the spine and can be made with fabric, leather or paper covers. You will learn how to turn fabric into book cloth so you have a sturdy cover for this book. The second structure has a spine made of an accordion fold so you can add many different items to your book which when opened up reveal a continuous display. We will learn both the flag book and the concertina. You can bring your own papers, fabrics, etc for the covers or choose from materials provided by the teacher.
