Tour de Fleece Spinning Kickoff Event

Calling all spinners for a special kick-off event of Tour de Fleece! 

Tour de Fleece is an annual event started in 2012 and happens every year during the time when the famous bicycle race Tour de France takes place. This is the first time Local Cloth has participated and will include several spin-ins as well as spinning classes for beginners, advanced spinners and anyone interested in learning to process their own fleece.

The idea is to set yourself a challenge. It doesn't matter what the challenge is -- it could be spinning fine for the first time, or producing an artsy funky yarn, it could be spinning enough for a specific project. If you've always wanted to spin a little every day, but never seem to find time for it, that could be the challenge -- spinning every morning of the tour. What matters is you set out the challenge, and meet it during the specified time.

On June 29th at our kick-off event, we'll gather to spin yarn, share the challenges we chose, encourage each other, and share some food and drinks.
