Natural Dye Interest Group

We have completed a whole year in our Natural Dye Study Group calendar so it's time to do some fiber prep for the upcoming year. So for this month's study group we will be scouring and mordanting all the fiber we will use for our upcoming meetings. We will have the fiber and mordants you just need to show up and lend a hand. This is also a good time to learn or refresh your knowledge about fiber prep.

As a small reward for pitching in we will make a dye pot using weld, the queen of yellows, for everyone to use to dye a SMALL piece of fiber. One small scarf or bandana, mini skein of yarn or small piece of fabric per person is doable. Whatever you bring to dye must be pre scoured and mordanted.

We will also set the agenda for the upcoming months.
