A Hands-On Introduction to Electric Spinning Wheels

Curious about electric spinning wheels? In this engaging three-hour workshop, students will have the opportunity to explore the exciting world of e-spinning in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment. Participants will receive hands-on experience with three different brands of electric spinning wheels, allowing time to compare features, spinning styles, and overall feel. We will cover basic wheel setup, fiber handling, drafting techniques, and how adjustments such as speed and tension influence yarn creation. No prior spinning experience is required. All materials and equipment will be provided. Come discover how the quiet hum of an electric wheel can transform fiber into beautiful handmade yarn.
